The phone users could be dead OR Unemployed. So you can’t use this as an accurate number.
At today’s presser they had a mortality rate chart listing various countries’ deaths per 100,000 population. Belgium/42, USA/10, China/.33. Trump is really beginning to make a point of calling the most extreme BS on any information coming out of China.
Ditto. I doubt anyone from US intelligence has been speaking with this very shaky source.
The question is how to interpret that information.
21 million is about 1.5% of the population of China.
It is a pretty high number of deaths, even for an older population with relatively sparse medical facilities.
In 1918-19, the U.S. lost 675K out of 103 million, or .66% .
