There is an App called Informed Mail that lets you know what mail is coming in your mailbox. I have mine set up where I get an email and text message every morning telling me what will be delivered that day. It even shows a picture of the face of the envelopes arriving. It shows the tracking number of any packages arriving.
It takes about a week to really kick in after signing up. Check it out!
Saw your post after I commented.....Informed Delivery is wonderful!
Thanks Hillarys Gate Cult.
A close friend of mine knows the niece of someone who died in May of last year. Since she was taking care of the estate, she discovered the IRS had sent him a payment. She tried twice to call them but could never get thru...
My wife and I are fortunate as we really do not need this money so, we are content to receive it whenever it arrives.

Donate the money to Trump’s re-election campaign....or, to someone who has LOST their JOB.
I read an article on Fox Business this morning that said that SS and SSI payments had not yet been made. Sush payments will apparently follow the first wave
But it also lists IRS web sites where you can check.
Contact them for direct deposit information.
I was shocked to read that SS and disability recipients would receive these checks. I thought they were for those recently out of work.
Found this on a website.
At the minute, the IRS is only processing those who chose to have their checks paid via direct deposit. This was an option for those filing their tax returns in 2018 or 2019. Many who have already received their checks had filed their returns for either of the two years and chose this option, meaning no further action was required from them as the IRS already had their relevant information.
I filed my 2018/2019 tax returns but did not need to enter direct deposit info. At first, the message on the IRS website said, I was eligible but they did not have enough info to direct deposit. I checked today and it says my check, by mail, is supposed to go out on the 24th.
I also read, but cannot confirm, where they are still trying to finish up the coding, required, for the SSI and Treasury to be able to talk to each other so SSI, SSDI, ETC., can be processed. My parents are on SSI and the message on the website, still says "payment status not available".
Because of the coding still required, it may be why they are doing tax returns first, so it gives them more time to finish that before they move on to people on SSI, etc. Could be why you and others have not seen it, as of yet.
Just tried it again. It still says "we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time."
Thanks
Thanks
Since I’m old enough to get SS, and since its almost required to have a bank that accepts DD (less chance of theft than paper check) as long as your bank has that capability, the IRS can deposit your stimulus check just as it does a tax refund. (They now want the DD capability so they can put your SS on a debit card.)
The biggest problem comes for those whose income is so low that they don’t have to file tax returns. That can delay the stimulus money. They’ve tried to cover that with a “non-filer” form to fill out, but that may be too little too late.
I finally got to the correct IRS site and entered my name, address , dob and ss number.
The message was”your check will be mailed April 24.”
I am on SS and filed a 2019 Tax return if that has a bearing
Here’s the IRS site
https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment
Thats exactly what I have been doing but I keep getting a message telling me they cant determine my eligibility with the information they have.
I file every year, but not yet for 2019.
I’m on a gov’t disability pension from working in a dangerous environment and getting badly injured. It’s a bit higher than poverty but non taxable so I file as per law but no refund. No reason to give them a direct deposit routing number. The thing is, since above poverty level I get zero government care others receive and not enough to get anything more since I can’t pay out of pocket. Hope you understand.
The circumstances are different but the situation is familiar.
I’ve given up on “government care” since the two words seem mutually exclusive. Unfortunately, I don’t live above poverty level and one thing I’ve learned is that if they will “give” you something, they will “take” something else.
I don’t bother to file. It’s a “meh” situation.

Thank You for the link.
I am the same. I am on SSI and VA DISABILITY and do not have to file any tax returns but I filed 2018/2019 anyway, with no direct deposit info.
At first it said "I am eligible for the payment but they did not have enough info for direct deposit". Today, it says the same as you, it will be mailed on the 24th.
The operative word seems to be “mailed”. As I read various accounts, I thought the IRS had the direct deposit data from the SS Administration.
I now understand that the IRS info is from the SS 1099 that only has an address if you do not get a refund and don’t have account and routing data on IRS file.
It is an interesting process that seems to be working pretty well. It is sure as hell better than the Obamacare roll out debacle
