I think it is misleading. I actually think Dr. Fauci said there is no evidence to support the idea the virus was enhanced and manipulated at the virology lab and that it was a naturally occurring bat virus. That is not in conflict with the idea that it was accidentally released from the lab where they were conducting experiments with bat viruses. At least this is what Senator Cotton from Arkansas said.
We don’t even need Pompeo’s statement with all the expertise we have on FR. There’s so much evidence now that even an el-hi student could understand it.

Look up thread at #107, where I referenced that Lancet medical journalk study. The evidence is that the virus did not mutate as expected , it replicated 99.9 % true, an amazing piece of data. This shows it came from a single source and spread rapidly. That’s not characteristic of a zzomorphic transmission from animals to humans. There would be a lot more mutation variation.
You bet it came from the lab. The question is was it an oops! or was it intentional. The Chinese act like it was intentional, guilty as hell.

No, you’re actually missing (or refusing to see) the point. Its not just about Fauci. Its also about the fact that he has a large network of like minded bureaucrats, colleagues, associates and media pals whom detest, resent and want to undermine Trump.
The LARGER POINT here is that Fauci is like a virus that that will spread his inside knowlege to his network. Because of that the damage he could do to Trump is incalculable.
I realize you’re OK with with leaving Fauci in his place and I understand your view but I learned long ago to never leave untrustworthy people in positions where they can spread disinformation to undermine you and your agenda. Because if you do, they will.
