Well, I don't pretend to be an expert on trade and I generally don't post about things I don't know. Saves me a lot of embarrassment. But it seems to me that anything that brings back our manufacturing jobs is a good thing. The US is the only first world country that thinks it can get by without a manufacturing sector. Does anyone on here actually think the Chinese play fair with us considering their regular currency manipulations? My husband is Taiwanese and he tells me how China regularly throws its economic weight around to suppress speech it doesn't like. Anyone who supports the ChiComs is (perhaps inadvertently) supporting censorship.
Praying for this bill to pass.
We don’t need bills what we need are tariffs, really high tariffs. This will FORCE manufacturing back to the USA QUICKLY.
Eff that. Take your “parts” and shove off to free-trade China.
