I'm with you...Good Lord. I've been watching some of the Senate hearing this morning. Absolutely chilling. From the Chairman, Lamar Alexander: "We need to be prepared for the NEXT pandemic, which is absolutely coming." I heard the very real possiblity that schools will NOT be opening in the Fall unless "they" determine there are adequate results from "testing and tracing," vaccine development progress, and of course their own suspect numbers.
Again, Fauci is speaking now about testing and tracing. Senator Enzi stressing a "second wave" coming. I also suspect from what I am hearing that administration of vaccinations will be mandatory, even if the first vaccine is from China.
Can we not all see the implications? They plan to beat us with these testing numbers like a club, and that is only the beginning. America needs to push back on all of this, and push hard. IMO POTUS should get off this testing/contact tracing tract immediately and put every drop of his energy into facilitating the full reopening our entire country NOW.

And if these ‘Rat pols were really interested in protecting families, the pols might stop turning a blind eye to illegal multi-family dwellings, illegal apartments, code violations that allow people to be crammed into living quarters never meant to hold that many people.

Well, it’s useful for people with symptoms and those in close contact with them; also for places of high susceptibility, like nursing homes. But just testing to test seems a waste. I would much rather that antibody or antigen testing be widely available; I suspect a lot of people have had this - perhaps earlier than we suppose - without even knowing it. But, I’m not a doc.
