Again, much of the coronavirus death rate can be explained by how nursing homes are run, which is impacted very much by a given state/country's policies.

Govenors in America care more about criminals in jail. so they are letting them go while they murder the elderly in nursing homes

In New York, Cuomo created a new order so that hospital patients who had tested positive for the virus were deliberately sent to nursing homes. The homes weren't even allowed to know if the person the hospital was sending to them had tested positive, and they weren't able to do any tests on them as well.

He just changed that policy the other day, and ordered that hospitals can no longer send patients that test positive for the virus to any nursing home. He's trying to claim it isn't a reversal, but...it's a reversal. I guess he needed to reach his goal of 5,000 elderly dead before he could change the rule.

And another thing that really irks me, is that this disgusting a-hole actually had a press conference on Mother's Day, and invited his mother, who was in a remote location to share that time with him on the air. He never even considered the fact that many of those elderly he murdered, had been someone's mother, and their loved ones had not been able to share that day, nor will they ever be able to share another Mother's Day with the loved one who died under Cuomo's evil policies.

Now that is an idea that makes sense.

Nursing homes: herded folks, elderly and more susceptible, nursing staff that come and go as well as family visitors that can bring it in. Not as sterile as a hospital (made to be familiar, comfortable, lots of personal affects).

Once it takes foot in a home it probably spreads like a wild fire and has a horrible mortality rate.
