So while Climate Change activists push for COVID-19-type restrictions to be permanent, they cannot cite evidence yet that this would lower CO2. But they will blame conservatives for any negative effects blamed on Climate Change

Meanwhile here in the NE we are experiencing nothing close to Global Warming.

As I read the title. . .I thought to myself. . .what about global warming. . .I’m freezing! Everyone’s heating bills are going to go through the roof! And you are right. . .the global warming they need to be concerned about is the blazing heat in eternity for those who don’t profess Christ as Savior.

I don’t know, it has been really cold where I live since the pandemic took hold. I’m sure it’s because of the reduced traffic.
Oh noes! An all-time high! Because there wasn’t any CO2 in the atmosphere until the last 60 years.

Woke up to snow on my deck this morning . It snowed yesterday. It snowed 3 times last week for about 8” of total accumulation. It’s snowed more and has been colder than February.
The Statue of Liberty is still above the water, children have seen snow during these last few years, the Artic has not gone tropical but still sends polar vortexes down to freeze us, etc. They are like Slow Joe, the only consistency that they have is being always wrong.
Oh wait, it’s an island. They can’t run very far... Earth currently has increased volcanic activity around the edges of the Pacific Plate. Tell the alarmists to learn science, it really irritates them to hear those words from us knuckle-dragging troglodytes.

During the Jurassic era the CO2 levels were 400 times higher than they are today. There were lush jungles that could sustain 100-ton dinosaurs. The biomass of the planet was at a record high. The Earth was never more alive than it was then.
CO2 levels today are about 0.04% (400 parts per million), which is just enough for plants to survive. If it drops to 150 PPM or lower plants will starve and die worldwide and render 90% of all species extinct (which has also happened before).
More CO2 improves crop yield, increases forestation, and has many other benefits.
It’s naturally-occurring CO2. Try to tax Mother Nature, you Climate Cretins.
Didn’t Krakatoa just explode and launch major particulates into the earths atmosphere? Gosh. Think that may effect CO2 levels?
Sidenote: US economic activity can be roughly measured by the amount of highway traffic. Use of gasoline is closely related to the demand for ethanol. ADM, Decatur, Illinois is a significant supplier of ethanol. Most, if not all ethanol is shipped by rail. ADM stores their empties on the railroad museum tracks northeast of Monticello, Illinois along Interstate 72. There are now more than ever, by a factor of at least two, of tanker cars parked there. There is even a significant number of grain cars on this section of track. I would guess that this is probably the museum’s major source of income - probably more than the Christmas and Halloween trains.
So this just proves increased carbon dioxide levels aren’t necessarily the fault of man.
