The AC/heat is MUCH better in this house. Helps that this one’s better-insulated too. My F-I-L did a lot of things to improve the old house but adding insulation wasn’t one.

Dang, you aren’t cooling off much at night, are you? Bummer.
We’ll have mid 80s through the weekend, then will enjoy 70s all next week.

Feed those poor kitties. They KNOW they’re starving to death. LOL

Got my Motorcycle Safety Inspection done today, and the sticker is the same color blue as my bike!

Then I rode all the way to Onset Beach (just off Cape Cod) using all back roads. Not a single highway.

Then I came back a different way, through Cranberry Country.

Tomorrow I will plant a rosebush that I bought to honor my two friends that died last week.

Then maybe i will ride again.

My only regret is that Penny has no use for the Harley and would rather stay home.

Oh Well.

Funny thing is, as I rode around the beach today, I could SMELL fried clams.

SOMEBODY had opened their restaurant! (((shhhh...don’t tell anybody!)))

I hope they don’t get put in jail.

Well they are all happy now. I even got to briefly pet Midnight. He'll let me scritch the "magic spot" and then turn like...enough. LOL!

Here is the cutest picture I got of Gray and Shadow last night after they'd settled for the night on their rug on top of a rain barrel by the back door. They looked so cozy.

Good evening, radu….pretty nice day today, but we are starting to need rain. Lawns are starting to green up all on their own. My lawn guys and the clean up crews won’t be here for 2 more weeks. LOTS of raking for them to do.

Hey there, Kathy.

I did finally get to check the airport cam and saw it was another fairly nice day up there. Looked similar to here - - some clouds, some sunshine, no rain. I guess on the plus side, the lack of rain will keep your yard from turning into a jungle before the yard guys get there. :-)
But I don’t want y’all to have another summer like last year with all the wildfires. Come on, rain!!!

No, Comcast has given us fits all day long. At least we didn’t lose TV, too, like we did yesterday.

Maybe he’ll come around one day. We’ve had a few who were skittish like that who eventually did. And when they did, they couldn’t get enough lovin’; were almost obnoxious about it. LOL
