Attorney General Bill Barr on Monday said he does not expect U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review into the origins of the Russia probe will lead to a “criminal investigation” of either former President Barack Obama or former Vice President Joe Biden -- while noting that their concern of “potential criminality” in the conduct of that probe is “focused on others.”
Barr, during a press conference on Monday, spoke at length about Durham investigation. He said he has a “general idea” of how the investigation is going, and confirmed that “some aspects are being investigated as potential crimes.”
Barr did say, however, that “not every abuse of power, no matter how outrageous, is necessarily a federal crime.”
“As for President Obama and Vice President Biden, whatever their level of involvement based on what I know, I don’t expect Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man,” Barr said. “Our concern of potential criminality is focused on others.”

The best thing for the country would be to charge those two as a lesson to others.
As much as I try to stay on Barr’s side, there is no reason for him to make these sort of statements. He is in effect announcing Obama and Biden are above the law.
Folks should look at the quotes more closely.

Based on this report, a president or vice-president being above the law, President Trump should be able to do whatever the heck he wants.
No kidding. Frankly I don't expect criminal investigations of anyone as a result of the Durham probe. We'll get a report that says disturbing breaches of protocol were found and numerous misstatements but no intent can be proven etc etc etc.
Just another kabuki dance meant to distract us and make us think someone will be held accountable.

True that. But it is also true that plenty of bad conduct is not criminal, and you can bet your bottom dollar that the sociopaths in positions of power know just how bad they can go without crossing that line.
We all knew it would never happen. Politics is worse that prostitution. At least a hooker will stop screwing you when you run out of money.
So how about they open an investigation of his ineligibility to hold office in the first place? I seriously doubt he is a natural born citizen. Plus since he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro his name should be Barack Soetoro. If not when did he change his name back to Obama? Where is the adoption paperwork? So many unanswered questions.....

Agree 100%. I am pretty sure Trump knows that as well. The others don’t and won’t.
