Is it pork based? If a medicine is pork based and there is no alternative it is kosher because saving a life is more important. But I’m not sure the moslems would have a similar opinion. And maybe that’s okay, right?

Both Judaism and Islam have life-saving exceptions. Just because something is treif or haram is not going to prevent religiously-observant people from taking it.
