11. Pass a Law denying trade with any nation whose National Defense Strategy is to subjugate the United States economically or militarily.

Never let a crisis go to waste. Push for freedom and economic self-sufficiency. Weaken an enemy regime. Hear the lamentations of their women.

The United States has never been in such danger from both internal and external enemies. Never.

The most valuable and long lasting thing we could do is get rid of all the burdens upon American manufacturers so we could compete again. Unless we do so we are headed for second rate status and a lower standard of living.

I just saw the documentary “American Factory”. It’s about a Chinese company taking over a shut down GM plant in Ohio and turning it into an auto glass factory.

It shows what a formidable foe China is and will continue to be in the industrial sector.

They are focused, driven, patient confident and management and workers united in their mission - vs Americans despondent, demoralized and divided. The difference in cultural attitudes are stark.

It’s rather ominous and a wake up call, and leaves open the question—how are we going to compete or deal with them?

Their 10 steps are very necessary. However, those steps are meaningless and we have no chance of dealing with the Chicoms unless one step is completed first. Trump must be re-elected. With any democrat or 90% of the pubbies in DC as president were done.

China has been preparing for war with us, and at war with us, for at least 30 years. We have been led by Ivy League educated imbeciles who couldn’t see it, who thought if we were nice to them, they’d become like real civilized countries and play nicely in return. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Now we have to try to undo all the damage done by idiots beginning with Bush 41 through Obama 44. Let’s hope there is still time.

I read somewhere that China possesses the ability to field a 200 MILLION man army. Odd that the Bible mentions that specific number in association with the “Kings of the East” in the Last Days.

Since China has the numbers, I believe America has no choice but to work faster, smarter, and more stealthily. Not just militarily, but also financially. Sort of the same principle as the 300 Spartans going up against the infinitely bigger and better-armed Persian army at Thermopylae. They logistically shouldn’t have won. They COULDN’T have won. But they did.

I think this (COVID-19 government action) is a test-ru for climate change ....

said Emily Yates, Philadelphia smart city director.

Will we do it to ourselves while the Chinese just look on laughing?

China represents the reemergence of a perfected, refined Fascism, combined with historical state Mercantilism.

But it is far, far more dangerous than the originals.

The US, if it wishes to survive, must quit all commerce with that dark evil.

Stop feeding the beast!

Maybe 10 years ago I saw a news program where the reporter was interviewing some guy who made door locks for cars.

I probably don’t have the prices right, but it went something like this. The guy’s factory was located in the United States. He could make a quality door lock assembly for $5, which he sold for $7.

Then the Chinese entered the market. They sold their door locks for $3. Their quality wasn’t as good as the USA ones, but they were good enough.

The guy being interviewed said that he saw his employees as family. And he was almost crying. He said that he had no choice but to move his factory to China. It was the only way to save his business.

So what’s the solution here? Free-traders don’t want to hear it. But the solution is tariffs.

Who here thinks that any of these cowards and traitors in our government, whose action s got us in this mess in the first place, will take the hard but necessary actions outlined in this article? That’s what I thought.

China worries me. But not as half as much as the RAT communists and their millions of duped low-information voters.

It is so frustrating that much of this about China and elsewhere is something our nation did to ourselves. We made China great and hurt the USA (not mortally yet).

Wasn’t there a policy that the military wanted to implement some time ago where all military hardware had to be made in USA, but it was shot down by WTO etc.?

“Since China has the numbers, I believe America has no choice but to work faster, smarter, and more stealthily.”

Right now it’s the Chinese that are doing all that and they have the numbers. They’re on a cult-like mission whereas for us it’s just a job.

Watch that documentary - it’s on Netflix and the web. I guarantee it will ring some alarm bells.

This is a very dangerous time. China, with what it has done re: the coronavirus, has come close to committing an act of war. And based on what we know, it will be difficult if not impossible for Xi to walk it back (even if he wanted to).

The path forward is anyone's guess.

As an aside, Xi and the CCP know full-well that communism cannot co-exist with free, representative republics unless such free countries are subordinate or communist-controlled.

This means exactly what it sound like.

War of one kind or another.

Communism is a cancer. It will either kill or be killed.

“So what’s the solution here? Free-traders don’t want to hear it. But the solution is tariffs.”

Using tariffs as a negotiating tool to get fairer trade terms like Trump is doing is fine.

But as a permanent long term policy it’s just an admission you can’t compete in terms of productivity and quality and eventually it will lead to shoddier products and lower standard of living.
