In the great old (black & white) movie "Knute Rockne, All-American" there was a scene in which one of the priests who was a Notre Dame administrator was discussing how football was too rough a game, and should be replaced with hockey. Rockne replied that he wouldn't want to put a stick in the hands of an Irishman!
That’s awesome..! When folks can laugh at themselves.. It’s a much better atmosphere...
