Like others who used the affirmative action movement as an inspiration, maybe the dead will demand equal rights.
They are active and enthusiastic DEM voters in the City of Detroit and Chicago, plus other urban areas. They keep their registrations up. Vote in every election. They sway council elections and help boost state totals for Dems.
The dead vote Dem.
I do not mean Jerry Garcia, or the merely retired ones who aren’t touring since Fare Thee Well ended. The other kind.

Well, haven’t you seen all those zombie flicks? You don’t want to p!ss off dead people. They’ll come up out of their holes and eat your brains. The NEA and NFTA have been promising young, juicy brains for all, so of course they have something to say about it. They vote the back pocket issues.
I think by "signature" they mean an entire entry in a petition, not the "signature" per se. Most signatures I have seen are arguably illegible, perhaps including my own. They probably mean fields like the printed name, date, etc., which must be legible.
