Requesting yon reader patience because it happened yesterday and I kinda want to scream.
I have a friend. She does not like President Trump but that’s nothing new. So yesterday we talk on phone.
Our church had just announced it will re-open for Sunday mass effective 6/6/20.
I mention to her, softly, that President Trump called for all the churches to be opened. “If it’s good enough for liquor stores and abortion clinics, it’s good enough for church,” I told her.
“Yeah well I am so mad at this president I better not meet him in person because I shall scream at him.”
Goodness I thought. What could Trump have done to offend her so much.
“He gets on the TV and tells us all to get out and do stuff,” she tells me as I wonder what’s wrong with this.
“He has no right to tell me what to do and if I want to stay home I will,” she “explained”.
I took a deep breath and told her that the president cannot make her go out and about, that she shouldn’t worry that he’ll throw her in jail for staying home.
Man she’s a nut job about going out, wears some kind of huge triangular mask, gloves on both hands, yells at people behind her in line for getting too close. She’d tell me this stuff and I dunno, we’re a country done gone nuts.
And now she hates and despises Donald Trump for suggesting that we get out and about like that’s some super crime.
Truth is, as I know it, that hating President Trump is all the rage these days. If you like Trump you are a dirty Walmart shopper with no taste.
My friend, the nut job, has real class. We know this because she hates Donald Trump.
She is so proud and she fights back.
Trump hate is often worse than any virus. Many of these people have been miserable most of their lives. The liberal media needs a few people to watch. The View attracts this unique type of Trump hater.
A simple “Ok, Karen” is the only response necessary to your dumb *itch friend.
I spoke to a friend of mine who lives in Miami. I asked him how it was going via COVID. He told me he was in quarantine and needed a haircut. He had to make an appointment and will do so on Tuesday, with a ton of restrictions.
I innocently asked him, since NY state has 23 THOUSAND coronavirus deaths, and Florida—with all its old people—only has 2,300 deaths—why that was?
He insisted that DeSantis is LYING about the deaths—there is more dead he’s covering up.
By a factor of TEN?, I asked. Yup, he says. I say come on, man. no way. The press hate him and would LOVE the chance to expose him. The press! he says, they’re all right-wingers!
I just shake my head at some peoples distorted views.
Even if I was not a conservative, Trump-fanatic FReeper, and only a wishy-washy independent, I would NEVER think the media is right-wing. Just nope.
