In men, ACE2 receptors were circulating in higher volumes in cells found in their blood and even in the testes.

Theory? ACE2 is the binding site for the virus, studies going back to December have shown that.

Adipose tissue makes a LOT of cytokines. A surprising amount - when stimulated to. This is another potential contributor to Covid deaths - among many. It's all conjecture at this point. All of it.
