Pennsylvania: a state that borders New York and is on the verge of going all Democrat. That’s rough.

A private company doesn’t have to ask you “mother may I?”

The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public.

The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

I don't want to do any of those things. You can do them all if you want to. Geez,we've gone from boot lickers to mask lickers.

Particularly when the Kung flu virus is .125 microns and the best masks stop particles only down to .3 microns.

Masks are a governmental hijab.

Shopping in a supermarket for 30 minutes and being in contact with an infected person for 2 minutes, once a week, is not likely to make you sick. WORKING in that market for 8 hours a day and being exposed to hundreds of people every day is far riskier.

Well, you've got me curious now. The supermarket employees have been working for a couple of months now since the virus started hitting the news. The whole mask phenomenon is a fairly recent event. So those employees must have been exposed to tens of thousands of customers in the meantime, most of the time without a facemask present. Next time you're at the supermarket, ask somebody working there how many of their co-workers have missed time due to the virus, and how many died or got sick enough to require medical care. Let us know what you find out.

Shop ‘n Save, Wal-Mart, Aldi’s. However, I believe all those stores also require masks.

We were in West Virginia last weekend, where Wal-Mart’s policy was, “Masks recommended” (but not required).

One thing I’ve noted about shopping locally, where most stores recommend but do not require a mask, is that it’s the healthiest-looking people who are most likely wear them.

Young and in-shape people always have a mask on. People with more tattoos than teeth never have one on, and they always seem to be standing next to other maskless people on the left side of the Bell curve having an animated conversation.

They were willing to make accommodations. There is no case.

Tell them to go cry elsewhere.

The primary way of person-to-person corona virus transmission is via aerosols or small droplets created by breathing, sneezing or coughing. The reach of exhaled air can be effectively reduced using a face mask as shown in our video. A simple Schlieren imaging technique is applied to visualize the air flow caused by a person breathing and coughing. Using a face mask the exhaled air flow is blocked reducing effectively the risk of infection. Also nicely shown is the heat transfer from the body to the cooler ambient air. More information about the Schlieren imaging technique is given here.

No, I believe that private businesses have a right to control their environment.

But yeah, most of the babies who don’t want to wear a mask strike me as dirty.

I think most of you are babies. You are coming up with the most ridiculous arguments to not do something.

Just put on the mask if you want to go to that store. I am sure there are other places where like minded folk won’t bother you. You are as bad as the queers and their cakes.

Tell me in the constitution where my private business cannot tell you to wear a mask to shop. You clearly have not read it, or it wasn’t explained to you. Your “freedoms” end at my front door.

“Exactly. It’s a private company. Shop elsewhere.”

If you are an “essential business” does it not stand to reason that it is essential the people visit, mask or no mask?

Seems to me you reaped the benefits of staying open while the rest of the world was made to close, so maybe cut people some slack.

Now Disney, I am NOT paying $4K to walk around there with a mask, period!

“They were willing to make accommodations. There is no case.”

Ahh. A lawyer, eh?

1) The story only offered that “A Giant Eagle spokesperson said the supermarket chain is actively reviewing the complaints and is currently unable to comment.” The story did not mention any accommodations offered to the 7. Did you have another source or are you just guessing?

2) And if there are accommodations they are for Giant Eagles employees, not the customer. The ADA gives employees with disabilities the right to reasonable accommodations that will allow them to do their jobs. Not customers.

Really? You want to store to treat you differently. You are not willing to accept an accommodation. And, to top it off, it’s a government policy. Sue the government, not the store.

You guys are just over reacting on this mask stuff. If there is a medical reason not to wear one, then you have to be willing to work with accommodations.

Not a lawyer, but I’ve dealt with access issues for decades. You don’t know what you are talking about.

Just put on the mask or get curbside delivery. What’s the big deal?

You guys are trying to blow this up into a big thing. This isn’t an attack on your personal liberty. No one is putting you in jail and your Liberty is not being infringed. You are not special. Figure it out. I thought this was America. You guys sound like a bunch of pansies.
