Did you see the photo of the cop with knee staring at camera? Dead eyes of a sicko.

We want the lynching now and then maybe we'll have the investigation later. Wasn't that the attitude of the Democrat KKK more than a century ago?

That attitude hasn't changed, just the color of the masks and the people wearing them.

That should satisfy the protestors. They’ll go home now.

Well, it is why we have this danged pesky thing called “due process”...

To most normal people, you view that video of the guy having his neck kneeled on, that is wrong in nearly every way.

But that video is often presented to us by the media and by race baiters (such as Black Lives Matter, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton) with little or no context at best, and at worst, what little context given to us is usually laudatory to the victim, “he didn’t do anything” or “he was a good person who was turning his life around” coupled with interviews from ‘witnesses’ who say the guy did nothing wrong.

And all those things may indeed be true, and it is a case of police malfeasance and evil non-professional behavior worthy of murder charges.

But it is also true they may not be. And I am not willing to send a man to the gallows or prison on the sole basis of a shot of video, shaped by the likes of the US Media, framed with the context THEY think is important or applicable, and excluding context that does not support their narrative.

That is why we have legal trials and not media or race baiter launched lynchings.

Why?
I see a policeman applying the full weight of his body thru his knee to the
main blood artery of a under control man for 8 minutes. Let me hand cuff
you with your hands behind your back. Apply my full 230lb weight thru my
knee to one of your main blood arteries for 8 minutes. And see how long you
live. Are you up for it?

Didn’t Freddy help kill himself by actively jumping around in the back of the Paddy Wagon?

Those are just pesky facts. They don't really mean/i> anything.

“I had heard he died in the hospital sorry.”

He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Paramedics said there were no signs of life while he was in the ambulance nor could they revive him.

Nobody knows what happened once he was in the ambulance.

True, although it is also known that Floyd ceased all motion and had bladder release before he was loaded into the ambulance. It's hard to believe they made things worse, and easier to believe they did their job but it was too late.

Question?

Hasn't the four policemen involved in this incident been fired?

[Did you see the photo of the cop with knee staring at camera? Dead eyes of a sicko.]

They’re basically a Fort Apache on wheels, watching for people to take a potshot. The knee on the neck is right out of the MPD manual. In hairy areas, the idea is to keep the hands free to return fire from the man’s friends or ward off attacks from random ferals angry that a black criminal is being hassled.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/minneapolis-george-floyd-kaepernick-eric-gardner-i-cant-breathe-arrest-officers
[In Minneapolis, kneeling on a suspect’s neck is allowed under the department’s use-of-force policy for officers who have received training in how to compress a neck without applying direct pressure to the airway. It is considered a “non-deadly force option,” according to the department’s policy handbook.]

Note that the deceased is a felon who was involved in a home invasion and held a gun against a woman’s head. He’s also 6’ 7” and 191 lbs. Gentle or not, he’s not a little guy.

“Maybe wait for the autopsy?”

Which autopsy?

The one the city coroner performs? Or the one the family has done thru their attorney’s choice of doctors? Or the one the Feds do when this goes Civil Rights violations case? Or the one done later once the family’s civil case is filed against the city?

All of those have already been tainted by an individual viewer’s bias, and will be disbelieved.

So, if they find that George died from a huge drug overdose, you are still going to hold to the theory the knee against the back of the neck, holding him down, killed him?

Probably I would. The video is pretty powerful stuff, and the police have been known to close ranks to protect one of their own.

As I was saying to my son “what sort of training do the Police officers receive?” “Is this considered excessive force?” “ Is this hold deemed inadvisable in certain circumstances or for any length of time” or are law enforcement given little direction in what is permissible/advisable and left to their own discretion. If there is a finger to point does it need to be pointed at the training and the lack of continued upgrading of skills and information?
