Busy sharpening their knives. :)
Naaah. Probably enjoying it all like the rest of us.
economic advantage is 50% reduction in cost, from $50M to $25M per launch. Versus Russia which charges us $120M for a one-way ride.
Great pic...Love it!
We watched it too. First time in forever we’ve watched a launch. It was great. Loved the booster return.
There are FReepers who don’t like Elon Musk for a number of reasons-I think he’s a loon with some strange and even bizarre behaviors-but many successful geniuses with great ideas have been loons-Einstein, Tesla, and even Howard Hughes had some strange ideas and did some weird things-it didn’t interfere with their professional lives and accomplishments...
You still watch Faux News?! I saw it on One America News. There was a momentary loss of video at the moment of landing, so expect conspiracy theorists to come out of the woodwork on that.
PDJT should bestow the the “Presidential Medal of Freedom” to Musk!
To be a private citizen and acomplish something of this magnitude is ALL AMERICAN!
Congratulations Elon Musk and SpaceX!
If they are anything like myself, happily eating crow.
I am still extremely skeptical of Tesla, but SpaceX is an incredible achievement, and is by far the most significant thing he will ever do.
“Check ignition, and may God’s love be with you!”
NICE :)!
They all complain about him getting fedgov grants. I thought it was just government contracts but at any rate, he probably earned his money as of today.
The feed on Fox cut out at the exact moment of the landing. Hummm...

This was not Trump putting us back in space. This was private enterprise that through all the SpaceX failures/explosions perfected their own technology/systems with the help of NASA so they would allow their astronauts aboard this historic flight today. This is just the start of Musk's vision for space exploration. ON TO MARS!
There is a documentary how this all came about from the beginning on the Science/Discovery channels a week or so ago. Think it is called: NASA AND SPACEX: JOURNEY TO THE FUTURE. It's 2 hours long, but gives every detail of SpaceX evolution in layman's terms. Well worth watching.
Where duh muzlums at?
I watched the launch on Fox and was smiling the whole time-Pres Trump got us back into our place in space-and a loon helped him do it-I hope ‘Rats will be drowning their sorrows in dry martinis and Jack Black for the rest of the day...
Give me the old suits :)
