Attorney General Bill Barr has directed the Bureau of Prisons to send riot teams to Washington, D.C. and Miami to respond to the violent protests and riots that have broken out in the cities and across the country in response to the death of George Floyd, Fox News has learned.
A senior Justice Department official told Fox News Monday that Barr has directed the BOP to send Special Operation Response Teams to the two cities. The riot team was present in Miami during protests over the weekend.
The official told Fox News that all FBI field offices have set up command posts.

I suppose it beats a strongly worded letter.
Isn’t it easier to call local law enforcement and tell them to do their jobs?
He needs to send some undercover cops in to ID the ring leaders so we can cut the head off this snake.
“Isnt it easier to call local law enforcement and tell them to do their jobs?”
They would say they are doing their job.

True, and doing it now will be easier than ever before because of the mass digitization that’s occurred in the last 30 years. I, for example, have taken several cross country trips in the last ten years, some by plane, one by train cross Canada, and some by car. I did each almost entirely by credit card, meaning I left a nearly perfect paper trail of where I’d been and what I’d done. Same’s true of the Antifa subhumans; roll up their paper trails and the FBI will roll up them, and their associates.
The DC mayor should realize some of the rioters and their rocks are coming from MD rich white neighborhoods.
Helpful if more than a few young studs and ladies would go infiltrate these Groups.
they are doing their jobs - standing down and disengaging like their mayors told them to do. Because some mayors and governors think every problem is a federal problem and they are just highly-paid hood ornaments.

Will they be sleeping on the job like they did when they were supposed to be watching Jeffrey Epstein?
Have the Feds gather the cellphone data of the arrested 'out-of-towners',
and the cell records will direct you to their contact list and communications.
According to the police in Miami, out of the 54 people arrested, only less than a half a dozen were locals.
The rest of the arrested (and more violent) came from out of area.
I imagine that cellphone text messages and instant messenger data would be more inciteful and instructive for the head of the snake.
This is why we should not have emptied the prisons.
Pshaw - like Hillary & co they will never be prosecuted - why waste resources on done deal?
As an aside, I'll bet the government already knows who is running the Antifa operation. If they don't they are negligent (I would have said FBI instead of "government" but you know...).
Some of our major cities are experiencing the equivalence of Kristallnacht. The ara of winning! is interrupted. Sadness engulfs us.
Good. Im glad Barr is acting.
Does anyone else think it is strange that Wray is AWOL? His name hasn’t been mentioned at all. Yes, I know that Barr is his boss, but this makes me think:
1. Wray is no longer employed.
2. Wray refuses to work with the POTUS.
I hope it is 1.
This is all the Attorney General has? What about the 27 agents use to take down one Roger Stone? Were screwed if this is it. What about shutting down a cell tower and license plates of the brick people . And maybe an arrest pretty please Bag Pipe Bill.
Cells can be shut to only have 911.
Yep.
OK but you’ll see - they are all the same doing the same thing, run by the same people - who do you imagine the ‘Deep State’ actually is? A bunch of bureaucrats? HAHAHAHAHA
These people and the rest are run by a State actor and its not Russia and will not be prosecuted, rather being groomed for the leadership in the next step.
