I would disagree in the fact that riots are a symptom of a collapsing nation.
The path that lead to this is how nations collapse, and is being driven by enemies, foreign and domestic...
It’s right now, Russia 1905, we know what happened 12 years later.
You and your ilk are going to realize we've given these fags, pimps and thugs about 50 years too much time already.
We're past the point of no return.
My un-PC observations from the last week run exactly opposite to the state media, large corporations, and societal tropes on this
Black youth are oppressed. Instead what I see are people with a high sense of privilege and entitlement. They have been fed a steady diet of resentment, and their own permanent victimhood. They have no agency, and therefore no consequences for their actions. Therefore, their destructive actions are justified. I Cops and their local politicians are absolutely afraid to touch these people in any violent way. Thus they loot at will.
Cops are violent - in fact, in the face of such wanton destruction, looting and violence, the fact that no rioters have been summarily shot shows the extreme caution (and fear) of Americas police and their political masters
America is united in protest - instead, all I see on the streets are very young people, mostly men, comprised of low IQ looters and white hippies and make-believe revolutionaries. Hardly representative of the whole of America. Yet we are told the nation is outraged.”
Perhaps the best monologue to date - Tucker is now the leading television political observer by leaps and bounds.
Tucker was on fire Monday night.
Spared no one, including the President.
Really spot on.
I’m re-watching it now. So much to take in last night that I had to see if I missed anything.
I’m SO glad he was bold about telling the truth about how Jared Kushner is leading Trump in the wrong direction. Most people tap dance around Kushner (and Ivanka), but not Tucker.
He said Pence “scolded” Americans for being racists. I didn’t hear Pence’s actual statement, but Tucker’s research usually is thorough and accurate. If Pence thinks normal Americans are racist, then he needs to NOT be on the ticket with Trump this year.
Forget timelines, how about ONE state Governor step up and quell this anarchy and insurrection and terror?
Yeah, I saw that, too, and had much the same reaction as he did.
Tucker at his finest. That is good editorial journalism.
What a difference there is to these comments from the comments last night right after Tucker said them. For a while last night, I thought FR had been completely overrun by disruptors....
How do you propose to eliminate diversity? Expel all non-white people from America?
I hope him and his family have a plan for their defense. The’re coming for him now.
Sorry, but I think his show last night sucked.
He sat there and attacked Trump for “doing nothing” and not speaking out, immediately AFTER Trump spoke out in the rose garden and walked across the street to the church as a symbol of standing up to this chaos.
It seemed as if he’d written or filmed his diatribe, then had to revise the end of it quickly because of these recent developments, but the end result is that he spent much of his time attacking someone who didn’t really deserve to be attacked and was too lazy to dump his monologie and re-write it from scratch (this is, of course, presuming that the show wasn’t pre-recorded in part, which would also explain the odd jump in tone).
Tucker is back on his meds
Yes, I agree, the riots are a symptom of a much bigger problem than racism or destruction of property. Look how many small businesses were destroyed by the policies of the lockdown.
It hit home for Tucker, literally. His community was attacked over the weekend. I’d be pissed, too.
I watched The Five yesterday and Greg Gutfield said his community was destroyed, also.
When you can’t leave your home or become under attack while in it, you’ll take on another attitude.
This is how it happens.
How come no one stood up to them? It really only takes a couple of wolves to rule a herd of sheep.
This is a real war now.
1. I'm no fan of Jared Kushner, but tying these riots to a Federal prison reform movement is absolutely ignorant on Carlson's part. Most people serving time in Federal prison are there for non-violent offenses. I even contend that many of those offenses shouldn't even be crimes at all -- let alone Federal crimes. The founders of this country would have found it repulsive, for example, to even consider the idea of imprisoning someone for firearms and narcotics "offenses."
2. What Americans want most right now is an end to this chaos. They want their cities to be saved. This is awfully presumptuous of Carlson. I don't give a flying sh!t about these cities. In fact, I've made personal and business decisions based on my desire to stay the hell away from cities as much as possible. Between the 2016 election patterns, the COVID-19 fiasco, and now this widespread insurrection, it's long been obvious to me that American cities are cursed ground. I wouldn't even buy the entire island of Manhattan for the same $24 the Dutch paid the Indians for it back in the 1620s.
3. Were going to begin with where my family lives and has lived for 35 years, in the northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C. There's your problem right there, Tucker. Your entire column is written with the simple-minded ignorance and naivete of someone who has lived for 35 years in a city that has been one of this country's worst urban sh!t-holes for decades. Aren't you the same guy whose home was sacked -- with your family inside -- by the same types of misfits and losers who are causing all this chaos and disorder now? And you still live in that neighborhood? And you still think the police are going to save your ass when the sh!t hits the fan?
I usually find Tucker Carlson to be thought-provoking and intelligent. He should have put his bowtie and his diaper back on before delivering this idiocy on TV.
See Post #39. Tucker Carlson's OWN HOME was attacked by rioters a couple of years ago. If he's still living there, he's an 'effing moron.
