If I owned that store it would have been emptied of merchandise at the first hint of trouble. Maybe the owner has terror coverage. I got a letter ever year offering the rider for that coverage and it wasn’t expensive. I never took it as the building wasn’t in an area to worry about.

Correct, every Rolex has a serial number on the back.
Actually, almost all expensive watches do.
Therefore, when you try and sell them at any pawn shop. You most likely will be arrested.
