I am not disputing the truth of what you say. I have lived my life, made my choices a different way. When a path emerged that would have compromised my integrity I did without. Another door always opens.

Don’t you think those men knew what they were selling when they took those jobs? There is usually a turning point where you know what you are getting into. The test of who you are occurs at that fork in the road.

I guess I have trouble with the idea that not only do you sell yourself you mislead the public by hiding the truth and supplying a plausible lie. That contributes to electing the leftists & globalists who all but destroyed our Country. These men misuse their positions and influence for a cushy life. In my vernacular that is evil.

Steve King made some ill considered statements, inartfully. He shot himself in the foot, probably should have retired to spend time with his family but he didn’t really understand that he was irreparably tainted.

The people at the bank who expect prompt payments on your 30-year mortgage don’t give deferments while you work on self-actualization. The finance department at your kids’ colleges don’t accept reports of your progress towards self-actualization as payment for their college enrollment or dorm and meal plan fees. It is what it is. I think most of these people change their ideological stripes to fit in, just to stay sane.

The fact is that the ideological changes that have taken place in the past several decades are head-spinning. I thought political correctness was bad in the 80’s. I’d give a lot to get back to 80’s-era political correctness today.
