I know a very liberal friend who lives 3 blocks from the war zone in Beverly Grove, and she is(was?) a big Gavin Newsom fan and was praising on how he was keeping California safe.

And to add insult to injury her cousin who lives a couple blocks away, said her complex was attacked and they smashed car windows and stole license plates.

I just rode through downtown on the motorcycle. That was fun. National Guard surrounds City Hall and the Criminal Courts Bldg. About 200 protesters. A hundred cops, sheriff deputies and Guard. Pretty peaceful now but the Anteefers come out at night
