Devoid of objective reasoning, they claimed that the San Pedro was "The last free flowing river in Arizona."
Nonetheless, real and powerful new barrier has marched up to the banks of the river, and that longstanding pathway for illegal immigration and smuggling, is scheduled to be secured in just the next few months. Fortunately, we have a leader who is world class good at building such bridges (i.e., real ones).
Ive been to that bridge, seen the SanPedro. It is a year around stream but much of the year a mere trickle a few feet across and inches deep. The river banks themselves are infested with tough prickly bushes and a good place for birds and other wildlife. But no doubt that intruders would and could walk right up the riverbed from Mexico into the US. A floodgate across the river is a good idea.
thanx beaubo.
good reporting on san pedro wall
Refreshing to see major obstacles overcome, providing an unstoppable predictable wall system with multiple segments being built concurrently from San Diego to El Paso. A huge win.
Especially now bulldozing all the damn greenie roadblocks and lawfare delays. A lot of FR hate directed at turtle but he absolutely did right by protecting and overturning the judicial court system at Supreme and circuit court level.
Delays were manageable and now on the year and a hAlf victory lap. It looks like NM/AZ/CA has all miles in construction or late stages of pre-construction besides 50 or so miles that are steep mountain.
