If I were to meet this woman on the street, I would spit in her face. As a long time resident of the fair state of Georgia, the state which endured Sherman‘s march to the sea, and his war on women and children, I can only say that this woman is just a sanctimonious bitch. Excuse my language, but there is no other word for her. She can go to hell!

On the south side of Lake Erie, there is a small island, Johnson’s island. It was a prison camp for Confederate Officers Which is Located in the Sandusky Bay.. Lake Erie winters are brutal and most of the prisoners died of influenza pneumonia, malnourishment, starvation and abuse. After the war the soldiers Southern families wanted, at their expense, to have their bodies brought back to the south, they were never allowed to do that. The historical society has erected a memorial and done what they could to repair the remains of the gravestones and keep the area in good shape. I expect that will be stopped.
In the Lincoln Memorial, the statue of Lincoln has him setting in a chair with Fascist symbols on the arm rests.
Same as used to be on back side of the Mercury dime.

The original symbol of fascism, in Italy under Benito Mussolini, was the fasces. This is an ancient Imperial Roman symbol of power carried by lictors in front of magistrates; a bundle of sticks featuring an axe, indicating the power over life and death.
History will surely hallow the bravery of this generation of Democrat politicians in their gallant assault on the unborn and the dead.

The nonsense on taking down statues and monuments of past Confederates or others such a Columbus or even religious ones (mostly Christian one as Islam seems to get a pass) has reached insanity levels. Now, some want to bulldoze grave markers which is a new low.
Blacks and other minorities have lived in America for decades and even centuries along with we whites. We all were participants in many historical events so to start erasing depictions because someone feels hurt is the sort of censorship that is right out of the book “1984”.
There are some people who believe (or at least say that they believe) that once upon a time the two parties magically swapped ideologies. I know - crazy right?!
We need a bill to kill off the national stain at the heart of slavery. Outlaw the democrat party and all of its affiliates. To the present day they are the party of slavery, the KKK and all of the other ills they brought about. That’s where the cleaning should start.

The Confederacy had no political parties. And the number of former Democrats in the Confederate Congress was only slightly larger than the number of former Whigs.
In the 1864 US Congress Democrats held 72 Seats vs 150 Republican. Lincoln’s own Vice President was a Democrat.
But why spoil the fairy tale version of Democrat/Republican history that’s so popular here.

Historians call it the Democratic-Republican Party. But that’s an after the fact name. Jefferson would have known it only as The Republican Party.
That Party broke apart after John Q Adams. The Jackson branch formed the Democratic Party in 1828. The Henry Clay/Daniel Webster opposition formed the Whig Party around 1832.
The Whigs lasted until the 1850s. The Republicans carried forward most of the Whig big gov’t economic program.
