My wife has a soft voice. We were in a store yesterday that had some mask Nazi at the front door and made me wear one. (I usually don’t bother even though the Governor calls it a law)
It’s not because the state constitution is clear that the governor does not have the power to create law and under the first Amendment, I cannot be forced to wear a specific article of clothing.
Anyway, I just can’t hear a word she says when it’s muffled under the stupid mask. Finally I just told her that if she needs to say something, either yell or take the stupid mask off.
I hate what absolutely mindless sheep most Americans have blindly turned into.
When I do wear one, it’s a Trump 2020 mask.
Our church requires them indoors. They are doing part of the service, singing etc outdoors with no masks and no forced distancing. Inside is masks.
We go simply because we miss our friends and zoom church kinda sucks.
Yeah, it makes me sweat like hell, and I needed to take it off every hour for jobs in the past that involved it to prevent my own dehydration. Get out of here with that nonsense!
I mostly just use the drive thru at the Pharmacy, and for the record, I don’t blatantly sneeze, cough, spit, or lick on other people, I’m an adult and grew out of ever doing any of that years ago.
I honestly wore masks for some jobs in the past, and when it’s hot, back in those saner times, the supervisor reminded us to get out of the dirty zone and get a drink so we wouldn’t get dehydrated from all that sweating in a mask. The mask was used for the really immediate danger that we might inhale dust in large quantities and in some cases, avoid inhaling asbestos. I am not wearing one outside in the heat.
I have seen numerous pictures and video of protesters obviously taking them off the nose and mouth because they obviously can’t stand all the sweating from wearing a mask in the heat.
I wear them where they are legally mandated in Virginia otherwise I don’t.
A great t-shirt logo could be “My rights don’t stop where your fear begins!” Alternatively given today’s cancel culture, “Cancel CoronaCowards”.
I’ve started looking at the WuFlu like I did polio (as a child). You just have to be extra careful about things.
...and maybe use a UVC wand.
I have talked to someone out West who had a woman come in the store and start licking her hands and run them over stuff.
It’s the randomness of the ignorant and the evil people out there that infringes on us.
I found out that I cannot breath with a mask on.
They will have to arrest me.
But, we had dinner Saturday night, sitting in a restaurant...six feet away from other diners...and WITHOUT MASKS, which we are told are NOT MANDATORY.
We had a lovely time. Our waiter was ecstatic that we were there.

I do the same when the work requires. Real respirators, not a piece of cloth that performs no function beyond signaling virtue or mindless flock behavior

Why should rioters and looters need masks? Mayors and governors have already signalled that they can riot and loot to thei6r evil hearts’ content by holding back the police. As far as COVID is concerned,since politicians have OK’d their protests with no regard to social distancing,the virus must be even more afraid to.go near rioters and looters.
