Who will be on the commission? Al Sharpton certainly, Jumaane Williams, maybe Louis Farrakhan? Any Orthodox Jews or Koreans? Who will be the Chairman (the Grand Inquisitor)?

I lived in the East village and later Greenpoint in Brooklyn in the 1980’s and some of the best times of my life. I went back for a brief work assignment in 2007, and it just was no good for me anymore.
I guess I would stay in my neighborhood too if I were you, and it’s heartbreaking that we accept this way of life because it’s bullshit that the right and normal people always have to acquiesce.

The south shore is pretty big and it’s our own little slice of peace in a a crazy world.
Everyone else moved to southern new jersey and those neighborhoods are fine.
Staten Island may not be taken over because there is no subway here and the bridge is 18 bucks unless you’re from Staten Island :)

I was talking with an Uber driver in NC who had moved there from Brooklyn and loves it. He said you’d have to be crazy to stay in NYC but that he is conservative and doesn’t want any liberals fleeing the city and joining him in NC.
