Re: “Sessions screwed up the DACA revocation.”

I strongly disagree.

Sessions wrote the exact Executive Order that Trump told him to write.

In Trump's first campaign speech in 2015, Trump stated he would “end” DACA on his first day in office.

Five years later, please note that Trump has NEVER said that he wants to deport the DACA kids.

In fact, two appellate judges have pointed out that Trump has publicly stated that he does NOT want to deport them.

If Trump wanted to deport the DACAs, he could have done that his first day in office with this two sentence Executive Order...

“According to the exact language in the Immigration and Nationality Act, the DACA kids are unlawfully present in the USA. Therefore, I order the Secretary of Homeland Security to remove them.”

An Executive Order that enforces the exact language of a Congressional statute cannot even be reviewed by a federal judge.

But, Trump will never write an Executive Order like that - because Trump is never going to deport the DACA kids.

I think you may not be clear on why the supreme court blocked this. It has nothing to do with deportation, or the rights of the people affected by DACA, it was simply because the paper work was poorly written and incomplete.

Trump isn't a lawyer, and didn't tell Sessions how to right the rescission. The supreme court overruled the recision because it was poorly written, and didn't comply with Administrative Procedure Act. I.e., it was completely incompetent.

Bill Barr is resubmitting the paperwork to get rid of DACA, and I guarantee he will get it right, unlike the moron Sessions.
