Had society stood up at the first signs of trouble from blm and said ‘nope- this nonsense stops now’ - we wouldn’t be here today tearing down all our historical statues and whatnot- but sadly the left coddled the temper tantrum throwing racists on the left and now we all have to watch the results- it aitn pretty- the children are now lording it over the adults-

Here’s an idea. If a medal - or a statue, or a painting - offends you, just don’t look at it. Look at something else.
They will eventually see the errors of their ways. And then they will apologize for what they've been doing over the past few years. They will apologize again. Over and over. And grovel. And then grovel some more.
This has gone way past ridiculous.

There's a TV show that I find offensive. As a Conservative, I shrug and decide to watch something else.
There's a TV show that a Liberal finds offensive. As a Liberal, they decide to start a campaign to get the show cancelled, make sure none of the actors ever work again, and get all copies of the show taken down from Netflix or removed from libraries and burned.
