The Coppertone girl all growed up!
She has a nice smile
Its the UK , for every attractive non overweight woman there are 99 that a 3 second look at would fix any issues
This reads like a satire. All the worse it is not.
Nice glutes too!
High of 73°F there, today! Are you referring to the temperature, or the demographics of the crowd? All I saw were white folks.
I know, as my buddy who spends months over there put itif you see a good looking woman and dont recognize her as an actress or model shes almost certainly a tourist
Shame whats happened there to the gene pool
A “major incident” is that so many Brits took their first “bath” in months. That would account for much of the 40 tons of trash they left.
What is she wearing? I can see her whole ass!
92 at Heathrow Airport yesterday - high 80s on the south coast.
according to Imperial College data models it could be the end of life on earth.
Bingo!
It was a gloriously sunny day....The sun killed all evil lurking viruses and ocean breezes dispersed the rest.
During the early 70’s I was stationed at a USAF base in England. I can remember one summer the newspaper headline proclaiming “75 again tomorrow and no relief in sight.”
Ahhh....Now your name makes sense. I used to think it had something to do with killing.
92 is the 10:00 am temperature here in Alabama, and it’s stays like that until September.
Also, I lived two years in Australia, and I can confirm that English-descendent people don’t melt in the heat.
So British people, why?
Oh, yeah, which base?
Mildenhall. Was single and having so much fun I didn’t know I was having fun. 72-75
I think we talked about this before. I was in ESC, which became AFIC and then AIA before I left Europe. I also was a SMSgt.
ESC in your day was-—? USAFSS?
I was first deployed at San Vito in Italy, and went TDY several times to RAF Chicksands, Croughton, Upper Heyford, and Mildenhall.
But I was in Europe AFTER the Wall fell and just as Desert Storm came to an end. Many of the European units that went to the Persian Gulf did not return to Europe (Army especially) but went back to stateside to be decommissioned. Just as I got to Italy, we were told OUR mission was going away, as most everyone’s were. So my main job was shutting down all the communications and computer systems in Italy and Greece. I got “hired” by the Europe ESC wing at Ramstein to do the same throughout all of Europe, hence the many TDYs all over the place. LOL! As soon as I got there, the Wing became a Group, and then a Squadron out of a Wing in San Antonio, we got so small. We went from 350K troops in Europe in 1991 to 75K went I left in 1997. What a mess and challenge that was! And so many historic US bases are no more.
I remember an inspection team coming from this new Wing to Ramstein in Sep of 93. They said they were there to inspect our intel units in Southern Germany (Augsburg and Bad Aibling). What the REALLY wanted to do was go to Oktober Fest! LOL! We closed those two bases earlier that year, and nobody told these guys. That’s how much of a mess it was! I told them, “Don’t you remember authorizing shutting their circuits down in January?” They were like, “Oh yeah. Now how do we get to Munich without looking like fraudsters?” I took them to the Neuwien Fest in Bad Durkam instead (close to Weisbaden, where we still has a small unit). They had to go back to Kelly without tasting the bier in Munich!
We had (and I believe it still exists) a unit at Mildenhall called the 6988th (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6988th_Electronic_Security_Squadron), and then was rolled in to the 100th as a SRS unit. I went there plenty, because we actually moved stuff from other RAF bases (mostly Alconbury, Chicksands and Menwith Hill) to them. Had a lot of good times at the Bird In Hand and Smokehouse!
You know what? We ought to write a book about our times in the Air Force. Lots and lots of history that will probably never be told (and sometimes I think that’s as it should be!).
