The flag that is being dumped was ADOPTED in the 1960s. - SORRY but the “mainstream press” LIED to you & the rest of the public.= I’m old enough to remember when the “battle-flag design” was adopted.
The OLD/OGIGINAL MS flag had a MAGNOLIA TREE on it.
(Btw, prior to 1860, Mississippi had NO state flag.)

Every source says it’s been Mississippi’s state flag since the 1890s. If you’re actually old enough to recall its adoption, maybe you’re senile and thinking of Georgia and its state flag adopted in 1956?

(The design was considered by the press as being “- - - - a thumb in the eye of the civil rights movement”.- The LIBS HATED the battle-flag even back then.)
The photos of the flag were seemingly in EVERY days’ Jackson newspaper..

Quite the contrary. Mississippi protests have been notably peaceable and civilized; free from rioting, looting and burning during the past month.

The new flag will be 3/4th black with “BLM”. The 1/4th will be white with the word “Surrender”
Just a pure white flag should do it.
My previous post of 3/4 black and 1/4 white needs a yellow strip dividing the sections to represent the political cowards.
