One of the recommendations unveiled in the “Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force” proposal involves establishing a commission to examine the impact of slavery and Jim Crow with the end goal of recommending “remedies,” or reparations. The task force refers to the move as a “building block to begin to redress the harms committed against African Americans.”
The unity plan explicitly calls for the passage of Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee’s (D-TX) Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act, or H.R. 40, calling it an “important first step” in the scope of the greater “comprehensive agenda for communities of color”:

Trump needs to hit him on this and force him to take a stand. He cannot very well skate on this. It is the most divisive topic in this country in the last 150 years.
This is classic camel’s nose in the tent action.
They say they want to study reparations, and set up a committee to study the subject.
We all know damn well, that any such commission to study reparations, will come back recommending that we pay reparations for slavery. The only questions will be who pays, how much, to whom.
Does anyone think that an official commission studying reparations for slavery, will conclude that there is no need, given civil rights protections and affirmative action in recent decades?
Reparations will be written in such a way that 99% goes to the Dem Party
Be sure to deduct all those years of welfare. We have been paying them to not work and keep pumping out kids now for almost 80 years.

So would I. My guess is they would want reparations extended to them as well under an umbrella - people of color.
They would say reparations isn’t about slavery - it’s about how people of color have been discriminated against. That gets rid of the argument that the slaves are long dead. They will want reparations for everyone except whites.
I will support the payment of ‘reparations’ to any former slave who is currently alive from the estates of their still living former owners. I reject any other payment proposals.
Does this mean that I can get reparations for 1,000+ years that North Africans and Middle Easterners kidnapped far more millions of White Europeans from the Slavic States to Iceland and Great Britain? I have ancestors from about 6-7 different European nations and am quite sure that many of those families lost loved ones to the evil of slavery. Those beneficiaries of White slave labor owe me!!!

6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of
the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State: the
bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally
in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal obligation of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies,
especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries: gradual abolition
of all the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of
the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s
factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial
production, &c., &c.

Too few realize that most of the reparations would not be direct aid to blacks. Most reparations programs envision most spending would go to various black organizations to ‘develop’ the inner cities and for other programs to advance black causes. IOW, BLM would get a windfall and Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would get new slush funds.
Earned success.
You can do reparations day and night, but without earned success there will never be happiness.
It’s an old recipe.
Some BLM leaders are demanding taking priority from white owners and giving to blacks. Just as they did in South Africa and Rhodesia.
Biden doesn’t know how to wipe his own behind..if he becomes President God forbid, he wont actually be President, Bernie Sanders/AOC, Rashida Tlaib, BLM, and Antifa will be President
