I bet you won’t find anything relating to diversity, inclusion, faggotry, BLM, flags or kneeling in their mission statement.

As much as I loved the technological marvels of racing’s past, it appears that spec racing is the future. NASCAR and IndyCar have both been heading that direction, and at the grassroots level, the two most popular classes in SCCA for the last several years have been Spec Miata and Spec Racer Ford.

That said, I like the idea of making the car less important in the outcome of the race.

Allow confederate flags?
Allow garage pulls?

Try to avoid the political BS, CBS, and you may have a paying audience.

If they fly our Confederate battleflag loud and proud, they will do great..given that CBS is 2/3 BS i have my doubts.

It will only be true racing when the car owners can setup their cars and engine mods themselves and keep that secret.

Racing has been going downhill since GM couldn’t compete with the Dodge Hemi engine or the Ford SOHC.

It really showed up after Awesome Bill from Dawsonville dominated in the early 80’s. Then GM lobbied for restrictor plate racing.
