Howdy, E.G.C. (HUGZ))

Is the weather still allowing you and Gizmo to wander around at the lake? You wouldn’t have wanted to if you were here yesterday. UGH!

Yep, it sounds like a new battery is a must if it’s going dead that quickly. At least you have that cool little starter to get you going.

Bummer you couldn’t get a Blizzard but you still went home with a treat. Did it cool off enough to be able to enjoy it on the deck, maybe with ducks to hang out with? :-)

it seemed like he was coming around and starting to enjoy a little lovin’. Bummer he’s reverted back to his old ways. He’s such a cool ol’ feller.

I don’t have high hopes for Smokey either. Not with that heat and her fragile condition. Poor lil girlie. She seemed like a very sweet cat.

She was sweet. There was just a look in her eyes that said...don’t love me too much.

It’s possible that someone in the neighborhood has run Ghost off and has made him super wary again. He’s a survivor and a loner.

Guess I’ll go for now. See ya tomorrow!

Well, yesterday was a busy one. I mowed the lawn and trimmed the weeds. Then Gizmo and I had fun at Wichita Ridge.

No telling how long she’d been on her own and not lucking up very much. At least she knew someone cared about her.

Yeah, a good chance others in the neighborhood aren’t as nice to Ghost as you are. Not everyone loves cats like we do. :-)

Sleep well. I hope the temp’s a little cooler tomorrow.

You DID have a busy day, didn’t you? Now the yard looks nice ...... until the next heavy rain comes along to make the grass turn into a jungle overnight again. LOL

Hubby waited until almost sunset to hop on the tractor to mow the large areas around the farm. Did it ever need it! But it’s been too hot during the day to even consider doing it. Not much chance for rain in our near future so he won’t have to worry about it again for a while.
