MSNBC host Chris Hayes recently tweeted,
“Liberals were right about George W Bush and they’re right about Donald Trump. The Republican Party is a political party incapable of governing the nation without ushering in death, devastation, and national humiliation. Just the facts.”
Um… what? I admit that I’m confused. To what “death, devastation, and national humiliation” could Hayes be referring for which he blames President Trump, unless he means the COVID-19 pandemic? It almost has to be, doesn’t it? What else could he have meant?
Surely Hayes couldn’t be suggesting that Trump should be held responsible for the fact that the Wuhan coronavirus spread to the U.S. -- he must be referring to Trump’s response to the virus, because it would be foolish to blame a natural disaster on human error.

I’m pretty sure he was confused about the names involved and meant the Obama administration. You can check the Obama performance data by looking at...oh...wait. Obama is the first President in the history of this Republic who has sequestered everything from his birth certificate to his and Michelle’s records about being disbarred from the Illinois Bar Association. Kinda makes you wonder what’s going to be in the Obama Presidential Library. I think when you enter that building, the only thing you’ll find is your own echo.

I have friends who watch main stream news and they are completely indoctrinated. They believe that Trump won the election because of the Russians. They think Hillary is the smartest woman alive. They think Sarah Palin is the dumbest woman alive. And now they think that Trump doesn't believe the covid virus is real, that he suggested people should drink bleach to cure it, and that if he had only listened to Fauci then countless lives that were lost could have been saved.
And what's really frightening is that they always voted Republican up until around 2008. They are probably still registered as Republicans. The brainwashing has been slow and steady over many years.
If I could pin-point the exact time when I looked at them in total disbelief, it was in 2009 at the swearing in of Obama. Roberts did NOT screw that up (and I can't stand Roberts). Obama jumped over his words and basically got lost. It's on bloody camera for anyone to see! So a couple of weeks later when a saw these friends, I made a joke about it and the pushback I got was unbelievable! Oh noooooo! It was Roberts who screwed it up, they claimed. That was the very first time I noticed that they were only watching tv channels that repeated the lie that Roberts was the one who messed it up. And just like that, the lie became truth to them.

Will the internet remain “accurate” as Google-Yahoo-Reddit-Wikipedia-Youtube-Quora fight FOR imposing their censorship and “political corruption”? We now ignore Snopes as counterfactual, discount Wikipedia, ignore MSNBC, .....
Once they start to believe the fake news they are immune to facts. I realized long ago that many dems “know” things such as Lincoln was a democrat and George Wallace was a republican and socialism is heaven on Earth. They believe anything as long as it is NOT true.

The only major error of the president was not executive ordering the rapid, national distribution of the 3 part hydroxy protocol at the time of the first shut down. He was badly sandbagged at that point, and this created the openings for most of what has gone badly since then. Another example of the very good being sacrificed to the non-existent perfect. Such an order now might just save the country. If we have any ‘real’ connected Republican activists/policy influencers here it’s beyond time to pass this along. Getting sandbagged at that point was the beginning of a ‘collapsing flank’ situation that has kept the president playing defense on the Covid front, and hampered everything else.
He forgets who was in the WH when we entered WW1, got bushwhacked into WW2, Korea and Vietnam for starters.. not to mention 9/11 attacks.
