Let's see if these masks hold in coughing using vaping. I'm not in the medical field, I've only made a very short video to make a quick point.

Wow, looks like masks really could do a bang up job of preventing viral spread (sarc off).

Masks are a joke and a scam that’s being used as a tool by the left.

Now granted, aerosolized droplet transmission might look a bit different than a gas or smoke (which is what this guy is doing) but...in my estimation, it would be quite similar.

They could test this with a luminescent inhaled aerosol that can be easily seen with the appropriate illumination. I will bet it would look much the same.

If this is you, nice job. There are very likely formal studies that illustrate this point, but I haven’t seen any. Perhaps they don’t want them seen.

Dan Bongino was talking about a panel of a bunch of Pediatricians on one of the alphabet networks who were asked if they would send their own children back to school, and without hesitation, they unanimously and unequivocally said yes. The news guy was visibly and clearly disappointed.

Never ask a question you don’t already know the answer to...

A couple of months ago I did my own experiment coughing with and without a covering over my mouth. Without, I felt a fairly strong gust of air with my hand held less than three feet away. With, I didn’t feel the slightest whiff of air.

Masks may be far from perfect, but I’m convinced they keep at least some of the air from being propelled as far.

(And I think it’s in the interest of persons who want Trump to win in November for people to wear masks, reduce the level of sickness as quickly as possible, and help the economy get going again.)

It’s not about the masks being impermeable. It’s about limiting the distance that large virus loads travel.

Your example pic shows that air is not filtered inhaleing or exhale.

Air flows that path of least resistance, which is in & out the sides due to lack of sealing to the skin.

The best that a mask can do is catch air borne snot if one were to sneeze in your direction and block what would have directly hit your face.

The aerosoled snot you inhaled from the lack of sealing of the mask.

Dr Faucet knows this.

I have long felt the only thing they might be good for is exactly as you said.

I started watching this. The guy has a pretty good arangement on. Fair mask, and decent glasses.

However, he needs the mask to be UNDER he glasses. Snug against his nose.

They are not. There is a lot of play.

So smoke came out, right there.

Stopped watching.

and this also lines up with the fact surgical masks like this are reported to let about 30-33% of air in/out the sides

so bassically worthless

I knew the masks were worthless when my son farted in the car as I was getting ready to get out at the grocery store.

That is part of the point, however.

Lots of people wear masks incorrectly, and that does not even include re-using uncleaned masks, touching and adjusting them constantly, etc.

Also, this is at least a mask. Most people just wear scarfs or bandanas.

Those would certainly do worse than a mask.

Yep. I got the urge to let one fly and crop dusted the entire cleaning supply aisle at Kroger earlier this evening. I bet people were wondering why I was snickering when I was walking to the checkout. I was worried it was going to be a shart at first, but man, did I feel better.
