No,it’s not. It has to go for a compromise between House and Senate bills.

Stupidity is in control now, whats it cost to replace all the signage, insignia and other nomenclature...mountains of printed materials? How many bases will be affected. Will every item on base with the now banned “evil names” be thrown away or destroyed?

Cant wait to see the replacment names on these forts.

They should rename the bases after the Union generals who defeated those generals.

Though in Bragg’s case that would be a long list.

Trump should veto it anyway. Force them to override his veto and then take names.
I doubt if enough Republicans in the House (who are all up for reelection) will vote override his veto.
It’s not over. Not by a long shot.

Problem is that same congress does not fo what their CONSTITUENTS want, but instead do what the highest bidding, cancel culture corporation wants.

Now that the House and Senate have both passed versions of the bill, congressional negotiators will spend several weeks negotiating on a final, compromise NDAA, reconciling differences between the two versions.

That compromise must pass both chambers before it can be sent for Trump's signature or veto.

Read your own source before you post it. Now you've got the drama queens all aflutter.

And you think that the compromise will remove the 'rename the base' clause?

Nope. The next step will be to handcuff Trump is moving troops around Europe, particularly out of Germany. It's coming.

Trump threatened to veto the bill if the "rename the bases" clause is in it. It's in the Senate version and it's in the House version so safe to say it'll be in the version that goes to Trump. The ball is in his court.

Excerpt: “The House bill also voted to include a provision to change the names of military facilities named after generals who fought on the pro-slavery side during the Civil War 155 years ago.“

Sounds like Senate bill did not rename bases. Headline seems misleading.

Grammatically, how does a house bill vote?

And a lot of them also voted for Sanders' "slash the Pentagon" bill yesterday.

Voting to pass a bill and voting to override a presidential veto of a President from your own party, with months to go to an election, are two entirely different matters.
So far, no bill has been enacted yet, let alone a veto power exercised, let alone the veto overridden. Yet you cheerfully declared “Goodbye Fort Bragg”.
Counting your chickens much?
