A governor can declare anything a health threat and close any and all businesses indefinitely without any need to prove the harm. It is tyranny, pure and simple.
You know, this is not good. However, the argument for shutting down a water park under a “health emergency” is at least arguably Constitutional. It is not Constitutional, though, if applied unevenly to different businesses without a rational reason. I don’t know all the facts in this Washington State case.
BUT,CHURCH WORSHIP is an enumerated right contained in the Bill of Rights. The way some courts have summarily dismissed the right to worship should be terrifying to all of us.
