If they don’t pass some kind of federal unemployment extension, I think it will be POTUS Biden.

I certainly believe it.
I’ve actually come down 15lbs since March.
(I was already in decent shape)
I’ve been doing a lot of hill sprints and walking miles everyday.
I haven’t been eating out, and I got tired of being alone in my apartment all the time.

At this point it can’t even be a “some kind”.

It needs to be the 6 until the end of the year. Changing it to anything else will only cause delays. Extending the eviction protections and another round of checks for those of us that have kept working through this mess.

If possible exclude public school teachers from that round of checks and double up on the saints who have been stocking the grocery shelves.

I agree, and the longer the delay the worse PR for Republicans.

Not only the death numbers.

Sweden has the worst unemployment numbers (9%) and worst economic contraction (5%) than any of it Nordic neighbors.

Nicholas is hailing total defeat as total victory.

If, as appears MAY be the case, immunity only last for a few months, then there’s no such thing as herd immunity at all.

First, if the only US “news” channel that goes outside US is CNN, conversely, how do patriots really know for sure what is going on outside US?

Regarding Sweden's herd immunity, it sounds like the following earlier Coronavirus-related testing results disappointed somebody.

Sweden Coronavirus Herd Immunity Attempt Failing: Only 7.3% Of Population Have Antibodies

Next, regarding Sweden possibly being more likely to avoid high death numbers in a second COVID-19 wave thanks to herd immunity, if most or all high-risk people were killed in Sweden's first wave anyway, I don’t know that fewer people dying in a possible second wave is something to brag about.

Corrections, insights welcome.

I get weeks off in winter so I know how dagerous time around the house is to the waistline. I started out being carefully and have dropped 5 but have been working half or three quarters of the time.

Your calculation works for the United States, where we only flattened the curve for a few weeks, and then suddenly re-opened everything. We got all the pain of the shutdown, but none of the benefit.

The OTHER countries that flattened the curve, however, did so thoroughly and have now more or less returned to normal life and economic growth.

Only one country performed so badly, both destroying the economy, but having a high death rate: US.

Consistent effort over time wins.
Just be good most of the time.
Exercise a little most days.

Yep, I don’t see any way to cut the benefit and tell folks ‘it’s for your own good’. Like it or not, we’re going to have to keep this rocking along until after Christmas.

US GDP wasn’t down 33%. It was down 9.2% for the quarter.

What I don’t understand is why the Trump Admin. and our federal government does not compare our nation (pop 330 million+) with other nations (some with populations lower than 15 million) per capita per million population?

COVID-19 deaths worldwide per one million population as of July 30, 2020, by country...

Belgium 861.14
United Kingdom 691.26
Spain 608.71
Peru 588.2
Italy 581.3
Sweden 562.69
Chile 495.38
USA 459.97

How many Americans relapsed on drugs and alcohol?

With marijuana legalized, how many Americans are newly addicted?

Weed isn’t addictive and no one has overdosed ever.
Alcohol, heroin, and pills are far more dangerous.

So...you’d prefer that America let ‘the experts’ select the ‘science’ we’ll all follow on setting Coronavirus policy and we march like lemmings behind them?
