I’ve also had the feeling that they may go back another woman of color plan and pick someone like Cuomo. If they do go with the original plan I suspect it’s not gonna be someone like Kamala Harris but a slightly lesser known but still radical leftist choice.
That’s a very good point. Personally, I don’t think he will choose the obvious such as a Kamala Harris who is very much nationally known figure, and instead go for someone like governor halfwit who is still well-known enough to be recognizable, but have at least some ofTheir socialist or Marxist tendencies hidden a bit.
He should punt and just name Bernie Sanders as VP. That way, even if he drops out or resigns later, Bernie wins. That way, when they lose, the Democratic party can wash its hands of the far left and restart.

The only problem with that is Biden already said his VP will meet two conditions:
1. The VP will be female
2. The VP will be black.
Unless he wants to renege on his promise and openly acknowledge that no one in the Democrat party satifactorily meets the VP qualifications, then he has already LIMITED his picks and Bernie is out.

If there were anyone with executive experience, but putting aside that he is partisan when called upon, Bill Richardson would be a VP candidate for their party. But from the pick of the current litter, you are right, there is no one who seems qualified.
Why is very simple. His handlers know if they announce in time for a major shakeup that there will be huge division in their party.
By him waiting it cements his place, and gives him a stronger chance of not facing harsh enough criticism that he will have to backpedal. I’m 55 years old, a tradesman, and yes, I think of politics as a trade like any other profession. I’ve seen my mentors, and family members, going through exactly what Biden is right now. He still thinks he’s all that he was, that he is still on the top of his game and that all the naysayers are wrong. This is pride talking, his mouth is saying things his brain and butt can’t back up anymore.
Pride, and arrogance, is all that he has left now. The decline is painful to watch because I’ve seen it so much, hell I’m still seeing it now looking out on my shop floor while I type this. The thing is, I know it will be my turn someday, and even though I type this thinking I won’t be like that I honestly don’t know when that time comes if I won’t be exactly like Biden here and refuse to step back and let the next generation step up.
Bottom line, it really sucks getting old and having to admit it, and release the reins once you’re had them a while.
Sleepy Joe will have zero choice in who his running late is.
