WNBA players on the Atlanta Dream squad, which is co-owned by Sen. Kelly Loeffler, showed up to their Tuesday game wearing t-shirts promoting the Georgia lawmaker’s Democratic challenger.

The statement against Loeffler, who is unpopular among many WNBA players for her opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement and the league’s affiliation with it, was captured on camera and posted to social media.

Members of the Dream’s Tuesday opponent, the Phoenix Mercury, even joined in — with players on both sides entering the arena wearing shirts emblazoned with “Vote Warnock” and “Black Lives Matter.”

Apparently nobody wants Loeffler. We need Doug Collins in that Senate seat.

WNBA players do not earn millions. The highest paid player makes around $200,000 a season and most earn a lot less than that. Whether they make more from endorsements I don’t know since I don’t follow women’s basketball.

Some WNBA players, in off-season, play in foreign countries...That is because what they earn in WNBA is not enough for them...

Uh, I have to wonder about the wisdom of owning an all girl (yeah I said it) basketball team. It ain’t as awesome as it sounds.

A good point...Owning a WNBA team could be very costly...I am talking about losing money...Some person would own a team for a few years and then get out...Losing too much money...

Owning a woman’s professional sports team could be very challenging...
There was WPS...Women’s Professional Soccer league...
Los Angeles had a team in that league...But, the team was disbanded after one season...The owners were losing too much money...

From what I hear is that she retired his campaign debt.

I figured there was a sweet deal in it somewhere for him.

I am guessing he’s got a sweet gig too when he’s no longer in office.

I found absolutely no reason she should have been appointed to the senate other than she had a lot of wealth.

I’m not a sports person, so I don’t know what they’re paid. But apparently these folks don’t comprehend the definition of “slave.” Slaves aren’t paid.
