We all got the endless message that excess Vitamin C washes through your system.
Other Vitamins don’t do that and have toxic levels as you point out. But this is best measured by a Doctor in blood tests rather than just dosage levels. Some people, like me, have special needs so I get monitored and vitamin supplements checked out by nutrionists working with a Doctor.
Zinc has an upper safe level as well. We all need to stay well informed, not just from some website.

1000 mg of Vitamin D = 25,000 IU. People take up to 10,000 IU Vitamin D so that is only 2,500 mg, and that is on the extreme end. Many people take 1000-5000 IU or 250-1250 mg. So yeah, 10000 IU would be dangerous level. I am sure it was a simple typo. It is easy to make a basic mistake knocking out quick posts. I do it all the time.
