Violence and destruction in US cities - what is the end game?

With the continuation of violence and destruction in major cities I propose there is an end game. It is the buying up of urban real estate at rock bottom prices and installing new controlling authorities

As people flee the violence and destruction in major cities it is logical to expect urban real estate prices to quickly sink. I believe there is a lot of money sitting on the sidelines waiting for prices to bottom. For example the looting in Chicago's Miracle Mile will cause businesses and residents to flee because the police can not or will not protect them.

There are still a lot of nice places to live in urban areas, especially in California. Once prices hit rock bottom real estate in these areas can be purchased cheaply and then a new authority can be installed. This could be a combination of BLM/Antifa/Sharia Law/existing government. Any new riots will be harshly put down because the new order will not allow their properties to be damaged. This new authority will take over the drug trade and eliminate the cartels and independents. Business and individual living in these areas will be subject to a protection racket.

Over time the new controlling authorities will become rich and may extend their control to the surrounding suburbs.

The end game is the complete degentrification of the inner cities so the low income people can take back the neighborhoods. Except that the low income people will have to live in fear and poverty in an area in decline.

I’m sure Soros has a lot of money at his disposal.

It may not be the long game, but in some places it has already started. It is about assuming power by intimidating politicians into cowing to their demands so that they can operate freely without law enforcement or political resistance to execute full scale organized crime. This isn’t a little bit of local racketeering. The longer strategies are to gobble up territory and infrastructure. Any semblance of an old representative style government will eventually become purely symbolic.

Revolution.

These people are like the Red Guards ... their job is destruction, to help the elite grab and hold power. Nothing more. They are expendable. Their lives don’t matter. Indeed I would here say that to the elites of the Left BLM is ironically named.

Black lives do not matter to the Left as black deaths, black suffering and black grievances whereby they remain perpetually downtrodden in their own hearts are far too useful for black lives to ever really matter.

Black persons who escape this doom certainly are not valued by the Left unless they mindlessly parrot the mantras of the Left, like a child announcing its conformity to the mean kids so they’ll leave them alone.

The end game?

Most of us dead, the rest in chains.

The end game is a Communist takeover of the United States.

Virtue signalling and power.

The wilhelms and pelosis say “look what I created! Look how goodly I am!” The riots themselves are “well, that is just the goodness I created expressing itself!”

All the while enjoying the very best capitalism can offer, including and especially safety behind walls, private security and state-supplied peace officers who have no fear of being defunded.

You have described, in abstract terms, how governments arise. You start with competing protection rackets, and one of them becomes dominant and (more or less successfully) tries to suppress the others, declaring itself the only legitimate authority. Government pretends to have a “monopoly on violence”, but really doesn’t, and people continue pay protection on multiple levels.

The end game is to buy up properties for public and low-income housing.

For example, if landlords cannot evict tenants who refuse to pay rent (while the landlords are still being required to pay property taxes, utilities, and mortgages without any discounts), eventually the buildings will either be abandoned or sold for cheap to progressive non-profit organizations. This is a way to get a foot in the door into areas that would never allow straight-up public housing to be built in their neighborhoods.

Who says that the Mob will pay for anything in the urban areas where prices are plummeting. The Mob will just take over the cities. No payment. Who will stop them? No one, so far.

The end game? The exercise of unadulterated power.

“ The end game is the complete degentrification of the inner cities”
That is it in a nutshell. The Left wants segregation, with large inner cities of Blacks on government aid, distributed by The Leftist and taken from the suburbs.

All you guys are wrong. “End game” implies some kind of planning, particularly into a distant future. The vast majority of the BLM/Antifa crowd don’t have the faintest idea about what they’re going to be doing a month from now. They’re the kind of people who make left turns from the right lane because they can’t plan a turn 30 seconds from the corner.

“...and people continue pay protection on multiple levels...”

We already do....they are euphemistically called such things as “real estate tax”, “sales tax”, “business license” etc.

"...and may extend their control to the surrounding suburbs"

I was with you until the end.
Unlike the inner-cities, the 'burbs have money and a ton of firepower.

Someone may very well envision their control expending into the suburbs, but they will be very wrong.

Yeah, that’s not going to happen.
