I drove through the Syracuse University campus today.
All incoming dorms residents have to quarantine for 14 days in their rooms.
They are brought their meals, and are allowed on schedule to go outside to their designated place by their own designated path, to spend an hour outside each day, for 14 days.
I went past a gated athletic field and there were students sitting or standing in place, all socially distancing from each other, with other students, presumably, sitting in what looked like lifeguard chairs, keeping an eye on things to make sure nobody violated their orders.
It looked exactly like a prison, only worse, cause at least in a prison, the inmates could move around freely.
The first thing I thought was “How are you do you like your gulag?”
And they are paying big bucks to attend SU and be treated this way.
It’s this sort of compliance, that they are even willing to pay to be treated like this, that makes me fear for our country.
