Twitter on Wednesday said it will not reverse its decision to ban far-right activist and self-described "proud Islamophobe" Laura Loomer from its platform after her Republican primary win in Florida.
"The account owner... was permanently suspended for repeated violations of the Twitter Rules, and we do not plan to reverse that enforcement action," a Twitter spokesperson told The Hill.
Loomer has courted controversy for years with a series of toxic comments that have led her to be banned from several social media platforms. She's particularly come under scrutiny for a number of blatantly anti-Muslim comments.
After the 2019 mass murder of 51 people in Christchurch, New Zealand, she said on the Telegram messaging ap that "nobody cares about Christchurch. I especially don’t.”
In 2017, she tweeted "[h]ow many more people need to die before everyone agrees that Islam is cancer & we should never let another Muslim into the civilized world?"
That same year she was banned from Uber after she tweeted that “someone needs to create a non Islamic form of @uber or @lyft."

It’s not that Loomer is “far-right,” it just that Twitter is so radically extreme far-leftist.

Loomer’s Democrat opponent should implore twitter to reinstate Loomer;
when that doesn’t happen she should voluntarily ban herself from twitter;
when then doesn’t happen she should acknowledge she is an authoritarian;
when that doesn’t happen ............
Twitter,Facebook and Youtube need to be broken up...like ATT was.
I would have voted for her if she had been on my primary ballot.

Then her opponent’s account needs to be investigated as a campaign contribution by the FEC. And the IRS needs to give them an exam.
Time to do all the things dems would do.
She should use Parler and everyone who has a twitter account needs to delete it asap.

People ran political campaigns before Twitter. It is likely that very view of Ms. Loomer’s potential voters are Twitter participants.
I suggest that she get out there in real life and do some real campaigning. That would be good practice for doing a real job as a legislator if she should be elected.
So they won’t let a duly-nominated major-party candidate use their service to seek votes and donations.
At this point, that should be considered an in-kind contribution to her Democrat opponent. Please contact the FEC and demand that they consider it such.
