I heard that Goodyear stock has already taken a hit, and they are trying to “clarify” their position.
How about waiting until the tires need replacing to switch brands rather than waste taxpayer money on what might be perfectly fine tires?
Good. I need two new tires for one of my cars. No Goodyear products, including Douglas. I’d rather pay an extra $20 or shop around. I hope their blimp has to land in Chicago.
My guess is those tires are custom special design. Trump can certainly make the change but it’s not like pulling into a Firestone.

Looks like Goodyear is about to lose their military contract supplying tires for our armored vehicles.
It’s going to cost people jobs in Ohio when the stock goes down, a state he needs to win. Also I think it’s illegal for a sitting president to call for a boycott.
