This article is next to worthless. If they did 1000 tests, 383, then their testing is really bad. If they did 10 million tests, that’s probably a smaller false positive than most tests. And they can’t even confirm how many more than 383 there were.
There’s gotta be more.
How can so many people “just” be infected now, when this “highly infectious” disease has been going around for months??
Somebody’s lying ... either corona ISN’T as “highly infectious” as Big Media has been wailing constantly, or the tests are producing a LOT of false positives (which means they’re unreliable).
One or the other, can’t be both.

There was an article in the WSJ today about how they are “sacrificing accuracy for speed,” and these rapid turn-around tests are producing huge numbers of false positives.
Which of course the left loves, since it keeps the hysteria going.
“The scale of Orig3n’s erroneous testing remains unclear, according to The Boston Globe, since state health officials did not re-test every sample the facility processed. The lab’s chief executive, Robin Smith, told the outlet that Orig3n processed “tens of thousands” of coronavirus tests over the past 90 days for clients across the country.”
An intelligent reporter would ask how many samples were retested, but I have a better chance of finding a pearl in my muscles marinara than finding an intelligent reporter.

You know better. They are generating a political narrative and they are raking in taxpayer money on the useless random testing scam.

Makes you wonder if the tests were faulty, or the results were just being recorded as positive, without even running the labs.
They are using RT-PCR. They may be overdoing it on the number of amplification cycles. Too many cycles and you are almost guaranteed of finding a false positive.
