The passengers and crew of Flight 93 should have all been posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and/or the Congressional Gold Medal. Their courageous actions are the very definition of heroism. Had they not attempted to take control of that plane at the cost of their lives, it would have been flown into the White House or Capitol. That this nation has not so honored them is a disgrace.

If we call Flight 93 the 4th plane, I've always suspected there was a 5th plane to target the other building but was for an unknown reason not successful.

Good idea.

I’ve said this from day 1.

No one fit the definition of “hero” that day as did these innocent citizens. And I do mean, NO ONE. Not MIL people, not firefighters or policemen.

No disrespect meant, but United 93 was the purest, highest level of “hero”.

And I’m sure there were some pure heroes in WTC too, that we will never know about, as well as a few we do.
