Probably not Sudan. They could possibly be in the Ezekiel 38 alliance against Israel. If they were, they would probably break it. Israel took out some arms shipments in Sudan a few years back. (maybe ‘09 or ‘10? I’d have to go look)
Met a guy from South Sudan the other day - he didn’t care for Sudan at all.
Sudan overthrew their long term Islamist dictator (Bashir) this last April, and he is now in jail,facing a potential death sentence.
They have a lot of coastline on the Westrn side of the Red Sea, just across from the Sinai Peninsula.
