Trump Expects ‘8 Or 9’ More Arab Countries To Join Israel Peace Agreement, Including Saudi Arabia

President Donald Trump expects “seven or eight or nine” additional Arab states to sign peace agreements with Israel in the near future, including Saudi Arabia, he announced Tuesday during a White House ceremony.

Trump made the comments after formally signing peace agreements between Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain. Known as the Abraham Accords, Trump and its other signatories hope it heralds “a new dawn for peace in the Middle East.” Trump also said that he spoke with the King of Saudi Arabia and expects the country to join the agreement “at the right time,” according Agence France Press (AFP).

“We’re here this afternoon to change the course of history,” Trump said in his remarks at the White House. “In Israel’s history there have only been two of these agreements, and now we have achieved two in a single month.”

I’ve got six good guesses posted (one was a gimme from the President’s own lips Saudi Arabia) - so we still need at least 1-3 more (assuming all mine are right).

Tunisia? Algeria?

Yemen?

Imagine Iraq - that would be a sharp stick in the eye of the Iranian regime - the Kurds would vote for it, and the Sunni tribes are close to the Saudis. The new PM is more independent from Iran.

Maybe they realize Harris/Biden is truly a threat to the world.

Actually, as long as we were reliant on foreign oil, what happened in the Middle East did effect us. Now, with energy independence, not so much.

Maybe Jordan (and/or Egypt) will be signing the agreement too, even though they already recognize Israel.

There could conceivably be a deal down the road for Jordan to possibly take some people and/or land - maybe Egypt could take Gaza (the current Egyptian Government would rip out Hamas by the roots). If 2024 rolls around and the Palestinianreps can’t work their own deal, maybe the region will give up on the two State approach.

Maybe the Saudis could hire a bunch of Palestiniansto work in their new city of Neom.

“Qatar said they won’t sign.”

I did not know that, but it makes sense - they are a hard case bitter clinger to the Muslim Brotherhood jihad.

That is what would have made them coming onboard so earth shaking. They have been under a lot of pressure from the Saudis and Emiratis. This could be their chance to come back in from the cold.

Low probability, but high potential impact.

Lefty meme narrative lie: They say it’s not a peace deal, it’s a weapons deal.

The Arab nations are doing this for one reason: 🇮🇷 Iran. The Arabs realize that 🇮🇱 Israel is the LEAST of their 😟 worries.

Even if it is a weapons deal, it is still a big win for us (and Israel).

Shovel ready jobs at defense contractors.

A thousand flowers will bloom, if commerce is opened freely. Israel is the hyper-entrepreneurial “Start Up Nation” of planet Earth, and can draw on a world class talent pool across the Jewish diaspora in the USA, EU and Russia, to make things happen.

Silicon Valley, Hollywood, Wall Street - Israeli companies have family ties.

i bet the arab countries are scared to death of Persia getting nuclear weapons ... it’d be very interesting if a very large peace deal develops between israel and the arab countries and eventually it turns into a mutual defense pact against Persia ...

Iran’s apocalyptic Twelver death cult regime is the big stick, but regional development and rapid diversification from dependence on oil is a big carrot as well - especially with US participation.

Both Israel and the USA bring a lot to the table, that Arab countries need for diversification and development - especially if they want the best.

“Israel has developed probably the world’s most advanced desalination process, one that can be powered with electricity generated by solar cells”

Isreal’s desal plants are run on electricity generated by adjacent power plants fired by natural gas from Israel’s offshore Leviathan natural gas field ...

An Israeli “nuclear umbrella” over a Military alliance, is a mighty big chip to play.

A lot of value.

“An Israeli “nuclear umbrella” over a Military alliance, is a mighty big chip to play.”

plus a big deterrence against Persia using the bomb (or any other aggression) if they know that they’ll have to go to war against israel and the entire arab world if they go on the attack against any part of the alliance ... such an alliance would completely isolate and neutralize Persia ...

That and they will undoubtedly say this really has nothing to do with Trump, the tide was turning despite Trump, they will dig up something from the past to say Obama, HRC and Biden laid the important groundwork for this. Or that this had everything to do with negotiations between just Israel and Arabs, nothing involving Trump. If Obama had done this (which he couldn’t have, he was for Iran and Palestinians & anti Israel) they would have already renamed it the Obama Peace Prize

Probably not Sudan. They could possibly be in the Ezekiel 38 alliance against Israel. If they were, they would probably break it. Israel took out some arms shipments in Sudan a few years back. (maybe ‘09 or ‘10? I’d have to go look)

Met a guy from South Sudan the other day - he didn’t care for Sudan at all.
